ACiQ Floor Mounted air handlers are designed for spaces like sun porches and attic rooms where traditional high wall units cannot fit due to space constraints. These units, also known as heat console types, are mounted low on the wall or near the floor, featuring a wider, taller, and slightly shallower profile compared to standard high wall units. They are ideal for locations where vertical wall space may be limited, such as below windows in sun porches or along knee-walls in attic remodels. Like high wall units, they intake return air at the top edge and deliver it at floor level, which is optimal for heating to prevent stratification. In cooling mode, the airflow direction reverses to enhance air mixing throughout the room, ensuring efficient temperature control and comfort in challenging installation environments.
