The Goodman AWST Air Handler (front-return) is engineered for versatile installation, allowing it to be mounted vertically on walls or studs. This model incorporates a check flow-rater to ensure optimal airflow management and is equipped with a direct drive, multi-speed motor that provides flexible performance tailored to various needs. The air handler is housed in a fully insulated cabinet constructed from durable galvanized steel, ensuring both energy efficiency and long-lasting protection against environmental factors. This robust design not only enhances operational reliability but also contributes to a quieter and more efficient heating and cooling experience.

  • Equipped with a fully adjustable TXV (thermal expansion valve)
  • Direct-drive, multi-speed motors allow for adjustable air volume for both heating and cooling
  • Sequence-controlled, rust-resistant nickel-chromium heating elements available in 3, 5, 8, and 10 kW options
  • Aluminum tubing coils included on all models
  • Cabinet air leakage of less than 2.0% at 1.0 inch H₂O, tested according to ASHRAE Standard 193
  • Compliant with UL 60335-2-40
  • Factory-installed R-32 sensor designed for the lifespan of the coil
  • Improved cabinet air leakage of less than 1.4% at 0.5 inch H₂O, tested according to ASHRAE Standard 193
  • Includes a factory-installed pull-type disconnect for safety
